SEE NOTE 1 of the Peacock and the links in that note!!! 12548 is an eko build, but that doesn't matter. You do not want a trailed build if you have dd-wrt on the router. once i get educated enough with DD-WRT, i will try a new stable build :) I think for now.im going to downgrade back to the OEM software using Hotspotsystem's guide. Thanks a lot, sorry im a dumbnut, i suck at networking BrainSlayer, where he has a specific WRT300Nnv11 file for my router. Don't go back to that router database again.Īhh thank you, so should i use EKO or BrainSlayer? i looked through the directory in.Īnd im unsure which one im supposed to use (megageneric?) vs. You actually have to read note 3 of the peacock.Read it all. "Firmware Recommendations - Last update 01/06/10" thread, under BrainSlayer's builds. Im also not entirely sure how you detect if there has been a bad flash or not.Īnd downloaded my router's file: dd-wrt.v24_mini_wrt300nv11.bin Peacock Thread Sticky- Just read it! (Anyone using SP1 will be taken out back and shot)Ĭan you suggest which build i should flash to (i have the V1.1 of the WRT300N)? i dont see a 12548 build, the only ones i see for WRT300N v1.4, 12533, 12188, 10020. Otherwise, go to linksys, find the proper file for that router (make sure you get the right version.1 or 1.1.whichever is on the label) and flash it with the webgui, following the proper process for flashing in the peacock announcement. I have that router and it is rock solid with 12548. Start with reading the announcements at the top of this forum as you likely flashed incorrectly or flashed a bad build. If not, tell me (or link me) to how the downgrade process works. So basically, tell me any suggestions that would help let my PS3 connect with a stable connection. If there is any suggestions you have before i downgrade that will let my PS3 actually F***** work, i would be greatly appreciative! I've tried setting up DMZ (static IP for PS3) and increasing my TX Power (from 71 to 81), which both had no effect in alleviating the problem.

Now i can hardly play for 3mins before getting disconnected. Before i installed DD-WRT, it worked fine. I need to do this because i've experience relentless trouble trying to play Killzone 2 online on my PS3 (or any other online MP game). It's to my great dislike that i have to downgrade my firmware ( no more monitoring the signals/bandwidth!) back to the original OEM linksys firmware.
